Rs tuning vs revo

Has anyone had a rs tuning stage1 remap on a Cupra? I just wondered how it would compare to the revo remap? It's alot cheaper but they recon the same gains!

Stage 1 remaps are all around the same gains, except bluefin who are a bit on the conservative side. Depends where you are located I suppose to who you could use.

I'm about 30 miles from rs tuning! There were one of the beat tuning companys for my old Clio 197

Then go for it, plenty of people have used tuners other than revo for their leons. I used p-torque in wolverhampton and been extremely pleased ever since!

IMO RS Tuning may EEK a little bit more power out from your car than say Revo as if you have a good engine and everything is tip top I don't think you could better a Custom Map.

Having said that and been to RS Tuning a map they had done for someone else Mk2 Cupra made about 5hp more than mine. OK for willy waving etc lol, but on a Track 5hp is nothing.

Now if you chose Revo alongside an SPS switch and use VCDS (if youv'e got it) then you should be able to achieve the same thing. Then on a plus side you would have switchability to std, Valet, Performance and Immobilsed for security.

I am in no way knocking Pauls ability to map a 2.0TFSI as I know it would be a good map, but for me the adjustability I get from Revo far outweighs any others available. It's a personal choice that can really only be answered by you.

You could get Revo loaded on by RS Tuning and optimsed on their rollers!!!

as its already been pointed out RS tuning are a revo dealer.

depends what your after from your map, RS' file might have more flexability over Revos file especialy if you have existing mods but then again the only difference might be the price.

Never heard a bad thing about RS and they're a helpful friendly bunch and the gains will be pleasing.

Revo might suit your needs better and many many people rate them highly (us included which is why we're a dealer).
