yup looks mint :) will take some better pics tomorrow

edit: if I were to lower it, I would have my exhaust ripped off everytime i came to work...

theres two huge speed bumps at my work and the leon just clears it by like 2-3 cm's as it is :(

well the alloys were £250 delivered, then I got some falken FK452's all round which came to about £244 then £40 to get the tyres fitted balanced and tracking done.. so just short of £550.

not so sure about colour coding as I will most deffo getting a more powerful leon next year :p so probably not worth it..

as for the ride I havnt really noticed any difference. Deffinatly more grip though.

question

hello,
It looks very nice on car, can I ask you something? I would like to buy this wheels replica RS6 on my passat B6, but I need to know, what types, measurements you´ve got, I think ET or what disk is it....example 8J, 8.5
My brother´s got same wheels on his car, but he has only 17" his parameters is ET 30!!! but disk is 7 or 7.5
Anyway I think that you have more wider disk but ET is less, is it??
because i want that wheels could be more out of wing;) D´you know what i mean

Not too sure for a passat but I think for 18's would be et42 on a 5 stud. Not sure what you mean by disk?

ok decision time :) ordering later tonight.. 18" RS6 alloys and some Falken FK 452's 225/40/18

What you guys think?

will they rub on the arches or will they sit nicely?

exactly what i have, been to the ring on them as well, and the rear was sliding out before the front on most corners lol.

lol don't get me wrong I would have loved to get a leon TDI but the insurance just wouldn't play ball and the golf TDI ended up £3000 cheaper somehow on insurance with pretty much same engine?

Dont have the car anymore, but I think they were et42 too.

I sorted out, with offset calculator
here is result: current wheel specs: Width:7.5 inch Offset:30mm
It would be same like this: Width: 8 inch Offset:36mm

Outer Position: THE SAME

:)

im 20 too, 1 year named driver, 0 NCD and the leon was £4000 odd, and the golf worked out only 20 quid more a month (£1800 in total) which didnt make sense at all.

noo that was for a 110tdi. I had to get rid of the 1.6 because there was just too much stuff going wrong. Plus was starting to do alot more miles.

So in the end it was between a 110tdi leon or a pd100 golf, and insurance only allowed the golf unfortunatly :(
