RTMG or Revo?

Looking to get a stage 1 remap but not sure whether to go to RTMG or Revo. Both seem like they know quite a lot about the 1.4 Twincharger engine except Revo being the more well known one. The only reason I'm considering RTMG is that they said they would put a pop and bang map on my car with the cat still in which I know most places wouldn't do. I've checked the reliability of the cat with the pops and bangs maps and all of them have said their cat has been fine, and ill know if my cat isn't fine anyway haha. RTMG seems to make more torque compared to Revo's map which I have a few mixed thoughts about, don't want to put too much torque on an already fragile engine and gearbox.
I have a Seat Ibiza FR with the 1.4 Twincharger and DSG7 gearbox.

Hi mate,

I went to RTMG for my stage 1 and can only talk for them as I haven’t come across anyone who has gone to Revo.

From my experience though RTMG are very thorough in what they do and I was surprised how accommodating they were when it came to my worries. Things like gearbox issues with torque and the whole pop and bang misconceptions.

Chris was more than helpful and put my mind at rest with the work they did. Now running the map for well over a year and the car hasn’t had any hiccups or issues along the way.

Cheers mate I think I'm going to go there now. Revo is a big company but RTMG seems to know what they're doing when it comes to 1.4 Twinchargers.

Avoid anything revo with a twincharger, early and some later models suffered with revo maps, Personally I went for custom tune with a well recommended local tuner and couldn't be happier with my twincharger.
