oops sorry! wat i meant was if u run out of fuel on a lcr wud it cause any damage to the engine??

lol.

I think the answer is:
i wud b fin init!!!
u shud by mor fuel tho!!!

Or in English, I don't think it does any damage running out of petrol, diesel would be a different story though (the world would explode)

thanks! havent run out yet but the car is running really low on fuel, nearest petrol station is couple of miles away not sure if i shud risk it.

you shouldnt drive on low reserve or use all up your fuel. all the dirt that is in the tank would get passed into fuel pump and injectors. causing problems. such mpg, performance.

Recommned you by some engine/fuel treatment that you could pour in your tank.
I always fill up when the light shows and on monthly basis add some fuel treatment into the tank to ensure optimal runnning

I always run low on fuel and ha to call Seat AA man for fuel twice.
Did ask if any probs would arrise running low and twice they said 'not really'

It is dangerous running low anyway.
Big lad, do you find the cleaners make that much difference or just peace of mind?

well yeh! when i started using it! the mpg went abit higher (NOT MUCH). but i know for a fact that it help to ensuer the injector dont clog up with dirt and fuel delivery is good! also helps the engine as well. keeps it Healty!

You can get injector cleaner from most petrol stations or the likes of Halfords.

VPower contains some detergents that help with this sort of thing too, so a good couple of tanks worth of that can do wonders.

The reason i ask is some say that injecter cleaners are fine,
some say its not all that and can poss make things worse?

I use Vpower but recently used mix of types of fuel!! ouch

looooooooool.......... now that is funny.... alot of people but high performance cars and cant afford to fill up.. my mate once had a subaru... and he ran out of petrol... i couldnt bear gloating....

but anyway, on diesels they cause havoc as air fils up... in petrols, just fil up again
