Rust!!

Just noticed ive got rust under the bonnet closest to the windscreen, looks like where water has sat on the rubber strip, Not impressed How much warranty is it for corrosion/paint?

between 6+12 years depends on model usually but unless it's rotted right through then i wish ya luck

Its a 2004 tdi sport

warrantied either way then

early cars used to be 6yrs then it went up to 12yrs a while back

should say in your service book and check the yearly body inspections are stamped up to date as they will need to be but as said above unless it's rotted through they usually won't warrant it

They reckon its not factory finished and has been repaired before! They where saying theres alot of rust in the engine bay aswell, so nothing they can do. They booked it in for a free health check so hoperfully wnt find anything wrong
