I had mine stock inspected and refurbed with kevlar plates. Should stand 600nm.
Had no judder or any other issue.
Silent and smooth as stock.
Do you still have dual mass fly wheel or you upgraded to single mass one?
Maybe some installation issue?
Yeah, I had once a performance clutch with single mass flywheel and it sounds pretty much as you described.
Eventually I changed it back for a Sachs performance clutch, but with a DMF and that worked as good as stock, without any weird noises or feel.
Update - This was normal and after 500 miles disappeared....
Its now like a normal clutch with an occasional judder in first and reverse, and a firmer pedal. Not bad considering what power the sinistered clutch will handle IMO

It was from Awesome GTI in Manchester, and cost £680 for the sinistered version with a brand new release bearing. My standard flywheel was cleaned up and inspected, to which it was discovered to be fine so was reused.
Fitting I can’t remember the exact cost, 300 rings a bell. There is alot of labour involved (dropping the subframe, removing the gearbox, alignment afterwards etc)

I had mine done just the same at Awesome gti, and over the last couple of days things just improved all of a sudden at 360 miles. Much better feel and more like normal !! I will still take it a bit easy to 500 miles but great so far.
