Anyone going down to Santa Pod this weekend. Its their first big modded car show of the year 'The Fast Show' with a RWYB on Saturday????????

Didnt know about the GTi thingy. I might goto that aswell.
Im going down on Saturday for s few runs, and depending on how good the cars are / the weather, I may go back down on Sunday just to watch.

Was anyone from here at Santa Pod this weekend.
I saw a Black Cupra (not sure of petrol or diesel), and a light blue Diesel which ran a 14.something.

There was a blue MK3 Cupra there, but wasn't me, ran a very quick time apparently....

I wanna know what the light blue diesel is cos im sure he managed at 14.something, and it wasnt a Cupra of FR, but had the TDi badge on the back. It had aftermarket multispoke alloys on.

the black cupra was me, its a petrol. didnt have a very good weekend, struggled with traction nd only managed a 14.9!!

I saw a yellow Mk3 Cupra, but no blue one.

i saw the blue mk3 around, didnt see it run though. saw 2 yellow mk3 cupras. the blue diesel was a 130 tdi sport with a remap, FMIC and induction kit. was chatting to him for a while and raced him once. was an impressive car. he is a member in here, cant rememebr his name though!!

Ah well hello. I tried to find your car in the paddock and have a chat, but failed!!
Anyway your right about the traction, it was really bad. I managed a 15.4 with a terrible start and missing a gear halfway up
So hopefully I will have a 14 something in mine next time.

I thought the Mk4 must have been a sport as it had the red DI on the back.

Anyway, may go down for the GTI thingy that a lot of u are doing, to put faces to names, and hopefully to do a good few runs!

not yet dropped the car off yesterday and must say im really impressed with the jbs workshop looks posh and profesional and i feel totally confident with the them doing the work to my cupra. so will get the car back mondayish maybe sooner added a few more bits to the kit too
