I'd definately want a Seat version, but if thats not possible maybe tempted at the VW one you have, as it has newer software, as mines dated July I think .and I can sell the old one and not lose out :)
Could you find out shipping costs for the UK, im in London if that helps.

Has anyone bought one of the new navigation units off tommy and got it shipped to the UK? Any compatibility issues?

Thanks Dan. That's a good guide & info. Just wondering now if anyone has bought a unit off tommy? Not trying to be rude but just need to be sure it's legit before spending 700 quid...

Hi All.
I just posted this in the vwnavi forums as well but Tommy deserves some credit so I'm putting this here too:

I bought one of these from Tommy on Wednesday (had a nice day out in Prague as well, dirt cheap to get there on EasyJet for anybody in the UK, nice place, good beer, freezing cold though...).
I have just installed it in my 07 GTI & couldn't be happier.
The unit is 100% (so far, touch wood), it has the full compliment of maps, traffic warning enabled, latest firmware, not a mark on it.
Just wanted to give Tommy some positive feedback in case anybody else was thinking of buying from him (no connections between us, see my posts on vwvortex under user name 'LRON').

I put this in a Gti so I can't offer any Seat specific info but am happy to answer any queries on the deal with Tommy.

Good luck to you all & thanks again Tommy.

post a few pics when you get a chance, there is a few of us interested. cheers.
