Sat Nav Updates

Hi all,
Been yonks since I've been on here, but having just a 2018 FR thought I would revisit
Liking the car so far and seems more like a baby Leon than my previous 6J FR.
One niggle though is the sat nav, which seems to be a bit out of date.
Any idea on part numbers/ sources for a new card?
I updated the 6J nav with a card off eBay, but it's not so clear if any of them will work for this newer model...

If you have the original card for your car/head unit, you can simply download the updated maps from the SEAT website.
One important note is that you will have to backup one file, and transfer it onto the newer version of the SAT-NAV.
That file is: "maps/EEC/EEC_WLD/OVERALL.NDS"

1) Simply find the file on your original SD card. Back it up to your cloud driver or somewhere safe for future uses, as its unique to your car (if I'm not mistaken)
2) Download the new maps from the official SEAT site, selecting regions you wish to have
3) Delete all the files from the SD card
4) Extract the new maps files onto the SD card
5) Place your original "OVERALL.NDS" file in the exact location as before
6) Enjoy the update

I have done this exact procedure successfully on my MY18 with the 8" full color + sat-nav head unit.
