scared, picking up my 55plate cupra fr tommorow

im picking up my 55plate diesel cupra fr tommorow and i just assumed it would be a 150bhp model but am i rite in saying that it mite not nessorserly be a 150bhp model/??? it has a tdi engine cover? but from what ive read the 150bhp is a pd engine not a tdi, or am i confused, helllp???

Very confused. You've either bought an FR or a Cupra, there was no such model as a Cupra FR. I think the 150hp PD Tdi engine was put in both the Cupra and FR, think the engine was used in the cupra until it was facelifted then put into the fr after the facelift. Somebody will come along to confirm this hopefully. You've definately bought a tdi though, the PD stands for Pumpe Duse. Hope this helps.

yeah that the run out model i think, only the wheels look the same as the cupra r ones, only they are an inch smaller (17)

unless i'm mistaken pd is apart of the engine code on a tdi thats why their called pd lumps

The engine code for the 150 pd tdi engine is ARL. This should be on the sticker in the boot

just looked on the HPI sheet and the engine code is ARL
