If your res delete is blowing I guess it wasnt sealed off properly?
No it was done by a garage who did a pretty poor job to be honest! Had to get it on a ramp myself and try to seal it. But I’ve seen a photo of NVM fit the scorpion exhaust on a Cupra and there being a few petrol drips when just idling..

A blow is gas getting out the exhaust, no petrol should be dripping out unless its some other serious problem.

The exhaust itself won't have any problems, it will be fitted wrong.

If you take a look at this video, you can see some drips from the rear of the exhaust that’s been fitted. What do you think this is? (5:45 on the video)

Seriously?

It'll be condensation. All exhausts do it. Water vapour in hot exhaust gases hit the cold metal of the exhaust system and turn back to liquid.

I had a scorpion non res catback on my MK2 and it was perfect.

A full cat back is going to be better in every way than just a res delete.

The full catback is going to replace everything so it'll be lighter, the diameter of all the pipes will be bigger than standard also so its better airflow all around as well as the better sound from the resonator delete on the non res version.

Thank you so much. Makes me a lot happier knowing this!

So I had this fitted today and it sounds amazing. Only thing I have to say is it makes a slight hissing sound when I put my foot down? Does anyone know if this could be blowing or something else in the car? It did it before I had it fitted. Thought it may have been my res delete.. but now new exhaust does it too?

I was once behind an Audi RS4 on a 40mph limit road, when it road became a 70mph one, the RS4 driver must have floored it, and I woud say at least half a glass of water came out of each of its exhaust pipes. This is not uncommon.

Is it when you are on boost?

Your diverter valve could have a tear in it.
I’m not sure, it defiantly sounds like it’s coming from underneath the car not under the bonnet. Seems to mostly be when I change to 3rd/4th gear at low revs and put my foot down to build revs it then makes the sound. I will try and get a video or sound clip.
