Silly question...

Does your seat belt warning lamp light up if someone sits in the passenger seat? Just noticed that once the drivers seat belt is put on, and a passenger gets in it does not illuminate...

Seems to work on drivers seat only in mine....

It should be a sensor in the seat. As soon as it detects pressure it will illuminate until the belt is plugged in

seems to only work on the drivers seat on mine... had car 12 months and never noticed any different..

It only works for the driver. The belt indicator works with a switch in the safety belt lock next to the drivers seat.

For passengers you'll need a pressure switch in the seats (4x) plus a switch in each lock (4x).
