Seat CD Changer to VW Golf?

Just a quick one lads.

I'm gonna be getting rid of my standard Seat CD Changer from my Leon and will be giving it to my brother, who has a VW Golf Mark 5, GT TDi on an 04 plate. His head unit has capability to attach a CD Changer but was wondering whether there will be any compatibility issues with this?

Will he need a specific lead/cable to connect his head unit to my Seat CD changer?

couldn't see a reason why not, we used to buy the cd changer's off local vw for seat's when we got caught short, just had to make sure the side orientation was correct.

is the cable not already installed to check ??

mind you didn't the later 04 on stuff change to Sony or something ?
