Seat Cordoba Project TDI - Pictures/Discussion

Well, I drive a SEAT Cordoba 1.9 TDI PD130.
Its something different than the norm as I like being different as much as I can.
Here are some quick picturs I took a few days after it was brought.

Plans:
New wheels - I have some 17inch TT wheels Im trying to guage weather I can make them fit without being crap.
Lowering - I want this low but still usable as a normal car, so a subtle 40mm drop is what im going for.
Turbo - Half brought a PD150 turbo which I will be saving for a hybrid or just refurbing it to use as a straight bolt on 150.
FMIC - Ovb going to want to upgrade this for when I get a remap.
Remap - Will be done when all of the above have been sorted.


Im trying to do this project on the smallest budget that I can, just to prove to myself that you dont have to spend ££££s

I think I'm beating you in the different from the norm, I drive a Cordy Vario tdi Check out some of the readers rides and see what they're using regarding suspension and wheels and how it affects them with regards to comfort etc. As for doing it on a tight budget all I can say is you're not alone.

Since when? they're similar but not the same.

PD130 is GT1749VA

PD150 is GT1749VB

But do they perform differently or are they just slightly different fitting etc? The way I've read it is that the pd130/150 both use a vnt17 which they both are, what do the A and the B mean?

Yeah they wouldnt be the same and have a different name? :/

And yeah, im getting it cheep once I get payed, so even if it dosent hybrid i'll just refurb it ready for when I get a remap.

alright girls dont all hit me with your handbags at once!

from a performance point of view they'll yeild almost identical results (apart from one will run 0.1 bar more boost than the other) - all i'm saying is dont expect unbelievable gains with the 150 turbo over the 130 as it will map and create good power just as it is.

A fmic will be your best bet.
