Anyone got any experience with the SEAT Ensurance service? I raised a request with Ensurance on their website over the weekend and just waiting for them to get in touch about it today. I should add, I do have actual insurance as well (through Admiral) so I'm assuming the Ensurance service is just a claim management company?

I whacked the front passenger side wheel of my Leon into a kerb at about 10-15mph after losing control in the snow on Friday and now it's making a horrible metallic rubbing sound and the whole wheel appears to be sitting an inch or so backwards towards the rear of the car under the arch.

According to the diagram you are right, they do claims management: https://www.insurewithseat.co.uk/Products/Ensurance/

Not sure I would want that myself, past experience says you have to negotiate hard with insurers to get a decent outcome. IMHO a middleman would just make it harder.

I can see the value for people who don't have the time or confidence...

So they were pretty much pointless.

As soon as I told the Ensurance guy the car was undriveable he told me it would be easier for me to just go direct to the insurer myself.
