Seat Ibiza 2013 SC, I want more horsepower.

My seat Ibiza is slow. Too slow I could get gapped by a mobility scooter.
It’s currently got a 1.4 petrol engine manual gearbox. Produces around 70bhp.
I want atleast 160 bhp. Is it possible to reach that on with this engine without blowing it up, otherwise which engines could I swap it with?

Sorry Liam, since it’s a naturally aspirated engine there’s no way you’ll even manage to get more than 80bhp. You could if you completely rebuilt the engine with all new everything and spent thousands but that’s obviously not worth it.

Maybe you need to check what a previous model Ibiza 1.4 with its extra weight and a BBY engine with 75PS, now that would be slow!
