Hello all, I have a 2016 Seat Ibiza 1.0L Sol
my current issue is the boot will not open (unless using manual latch in the boot) but on the dash it is saying the boot is open (even though it is not)
Background on the issue: it started by the boot not opening so I went Halfords and they sold me some release spray to use on it and it worked for a month or so it then stopped so I put some more and it began to work again this happened maybe 2 times now to my most recent time i sprayed it on the evening then in the morning it didnt work. Drove to work fine then when I got back in the car at the end of the Day it was saying the boot was open (it wasn’t)
i have taken the back panel off and unplugged connectors and plugged them back in
Any idea on how to fix/ what parts to replace to fix this or how to diagnose which parts are broken?

UPDATE when I try to open the boot it makes a slight clicking sound but nothing happens, the button on the Key also does not do anything
