Seat Ibiza 2017 front bumper.

Hi all,

Just purchased my Grandson a Seat Ibiza 1.2 SE Technical 2017, unfortunately their is slight damage to the bumper, and I was wonder which other years would fit, as I would like to purchase a secondhand bumper to replace it. Many thanks in advance for all your help in this matter

I could try to get some information about that from the parts catalog but not sure if it's one of the last 6J's (Known as Mk5 around here, actually 4th gen), or it's one of the first 6F's (known as Mk6 but actually 5th gen), 2017 being the breaking model year. A photo of it would be fine but VIN would be better for exact parts matching.

I'm not sure whether the bumper was changed on the last face lift but I'm sure you will be more knowledgeable than me

Parts catalog talks in terms of manufacturing date intervals instead of model years.
It would probably be hard for you to find that out from a bumper lying around the used parts lot
but that's the way it is so here's what the catalog says:
The front bumper in your car falls into the date interval between 05/15 and 11/17, so the ones from 2016 and 2017 model year would surely fit, maybe very late 2015s also, as breakaway date for a model year is usually starts with 07/xx.

Additionally, there are the ones manufactured between 02/12 and 07/15 (after the 2012 facelift) and their illustrations look the same as yours shape-wise.
But catalog does not say anything more than this, so I guess one needs to be in the trade to know if there's any difference regarding mounting etc. between those and yours.
