Coilpack has been changed. (common fault on these)

Two previous owners.

Right a small update for you all a few days ago these arrived :)

100_0255.jpg

The HID kit is a slim ballast kit at 5k and fitted it looks very nice indeed.

However i did mess up as i also ordered some Orasm Night breaker bulbs for my dipped beams and misread the description on them. It stated 90% more light than a standard bulb and 10% brighter so it looks very yellow compared to my HID kit.

So now that ive wasted £30 on them i need to find a decent spec H3 bulb to match the HID kit!

Will update with some pics of the Hid Kit at night soon for you all.

Right just another small update i had my windows tinted a few days ago. I went for a light tint as i dont like cars that have very heavy tints such as limo tints etc.

Right just another small update once again. Last week i recived my colour coded mirror covers from Tomnova (excellent finish to them and a nice guy to deal, with a member based on Corsa Sport)

Here they are and i think most people would agree that they will look alot better on than silver covers.

100_0272.jpg

Also ordered a new tax disc holder just to spice the inisde up a little.

100_0269.jpg

Next plans are to fit the mirror covers and also get the old hands free kit taken out and my Parrot put into it.

Any comments always welcome as usual!

Think most people will agreee that they look alot better.

The old Nokia hands free kit was taken out which meant that all the wires from the passenger side footwell are now gone as you can see below.

100_0287.jpg

The Parrot hands free kit has now been fitted also shown below.

100_0289.jpg

I also took a trip over to Awsome Gti in Manchester and picked this up.

100_0290.jpg

For anyone who doesnt know what it is, its a Whiteline 20MM rear anti roll bar which is said to be one of the best handling mods there is for the car.

Comments welcome as always :)

Right just a little update once again i was cleaning up the other day and found this hiding under my bed.

100_0293.jpg

Its an OMP front lower strut brace so should help to keep the front end nice and tight once ive been to Seat and sorted an front upper strut brace aswell.

Next step was to fit the Whiteline ARB which ive heard from so many people is a must for these cars.

100_0295.jpg

100_0296.jpg

100_0297.jpg

I have it set to medium at the moment and it has really helped to tighten up the back end so im happy with it. I may change it to the stiffest setting in the not to near future once ive got a few other bits and bobs sorted.

Comments are welcome as always :)

Right just another update for you all :) i now have some new wheels for the car which are :-

100_0304.jpg

100_0303.jpg

They are Seat Ibiza Cupra wheels(which are very hard to find).

The top picture is the two that are perfect and if you look closely at the second picture you can see that there is a chip on one of the spokes and also some kerbing around the edges :(

The plan for them is to get the two damaged ones refurbed, the colour is staying the same and im going to invest in 4 brand new Yoko Parada's for them as the proxies on them dont have much life left in them.

Any comments welcome as always :)

Well for my budget i had the choice of the Parada's or Proxies and ive always had Yokos on the car and apart from them them wearing abit faster than other tyres ive loved them. I think they stick great to the road and are good value for money so i just hope they are decent in the wet :)

Ive got some SMD side lights and also got some pure white bulbs for the dipped beams to replace the yellowish orasm ones i had it previously.

Heres a pic of them:-

100_0316.jpg

Right just a few more updates ive been spending a little bit of cash the last few weeks.

I went and picked these up the other day :)

100_0317.jpg

4x Yokohama Parada Spec 2 tyres for my new cupra wheels which i still need to sort out a refurb for

I got a few goodies when i called into Seat the other day looking for a part number the goodies include.

Some new car mats and my old ones where looking very worn and sorry for themselves, i also invested in some rear mud flaps to try and help keep the car abit cleaner.

100_0319.jpg

I also thought what the hell lets get some front mud flaps aswell to keep the car looking in sync with the back.

100_0337.jpg

The final part i decided to buy was a Momo strut brace which can be seen below. I was going to get an LCR splitter but i think i will leave that until the car is lowered in the summer.

100_0329.jpg

I will get some more pics up one i have fitted the parts any questions or comments welcome as always!
