Hello,

I was just wondering where i could get a seat sport FMIC and all pipe work and brackets for 1.9tdi pd130 from and how much it would cost? I have found the forge motorsport intercooler kit for £750 however i believe you can get the seat sport intercooler kit cheaper?

Thanks,

Ricardo

Dave from Sere Motors (has a sub forum on here) will sell you the IC + brackets for around £270, then Forge do the pipework for about £200. Not cheap, but not as expensive as Forge's own, and it's better too

Im at it again, resurrecting old threads!!

I cant actually find the definitive answer to this tbh, and it something im planning for so.....if anyone could help that would be super fantastic great!

What is the best option for FMIC'ing the PD130 to get the balance of cost vs effectiveness etc etc?

- Forge kit @ £787
- Seat Sport Kit @ about £300 + pipework
- Universal eBay Twin Pass and then custom brackets - £120 for cooler then all the faff and it probs not fitting!

Could anyone just sum it up? At least then if anyone searches, its there!

Thanks,

Jimski

Get Seat Sport, it's a better design than the Forge one, and iirc smaller so a little bit less turbo lag
I think it works out marginally cheaper as well, though you have to trim part of the bumper

I have VW ed 30 intercooler sat around doing nothing that could fit a pd 130 with some minor mods i'm told . It's only 25k miles old and going cheap.

Cheers Crafoo will stick a post up in there.

At the moment, im thinking of putting the FMIC on without a remap, this isnt likely to cause any issues is it??

lol, yeah true I did get it for free but it is loads better than the standard SMIC, got the graphs to prove it :D power went up around 15hp and temps are loads lower

Yeah I was just kidding mate, looks like it does give a really good improvement over standard. I'm just guessing a price based on the Forge pipework though....
