Yeah I noticed those too and liked them alot but I guess they want to use the same doors as the 5-door hatch.

Yea it definitely wants a 1.9 diesel for the extra torque. i am not overly keen on the styling myself, i'd stick to the hatch if i could afford one

1.9 has been dropped now.

Sure dosnt the 1.6 match the 1.9 in every way anyways, betters it even...

The 1.6 CR has 250Nm torque at 1500rpm, versus 240Nm at 1900rpm on the 1.9. So yeah!

I gotta say I love the styling of this. I agree with an earlier poster, very much like the A3 sportback!

It's a shame that Seat are not doing the 2.0 TDi 170PS as the Audi has. That would be a serious contender in buying my next car. I'm eyeing up the A3 sportback you see but the £22,000 price tag is kinda high. I'm sure this one would be less expensive.

It looks like it will also come with the option of having the 1.2tsi 105hp engine and also the 1.2 TDI CR 75 hp engine in it.

Fingers crossed I'll be getting one as a demo. 1.6 CR TDi Sport, Speed Blue, 17"s, Climate, CUP, then maybe an Angel Tuning re-map to 130PS.
