Hello.

I'm looking for some answers.
I went to see a 2018 Seat Leon today, which has a 1.4 TSI petrol engine. The car has done not far off 58,000 miles and had a timing belt change, two years ago.

Anyway, when I started the engine, with the window open, the engine produced a strange sound, as it started, which wasn't really loud, but it was noticeable. I believe the engine was cold at the time. While on the test drive, when the stop/start kicked in, I heard the same sound on starting. I wasn't on the test drive for long, but the car seemed to drive fine. I used to own an Ibiza, with also had a TSI engine, but I can never remember that producing the same sound.

The video I have here isn't mine and is from a VW TSI engine, but the sound that is presents, is exactly like what I heard from the Leon's engine.

I'm just wondering weather anyone on here, may be able to tell me if the sound is normal, or, not?

Video link here.

Thanks.
