Does having a seized turbo faulty actuator block up the dpf.

After clean dpf & dpf sensor replaced.

Car still faulty now needs a new turbo etc.

You sure it's not the actuator. You can by a repeat kit and don't have to replace the full turbo. Symptoms would be black smoke, limp mode and for got the dtc code, a blocked DPF can damage turbo, why you should keep driving on a constant DPF light or error code

sorry for the blunt replies alcohol doesnt help. if the actuator isnt opening the gate for the exhaust gasses to escape etc its possible too, mine went but i had removed my dpf , car black smoked like mad, think theres even a pic in my build

Yeah the garage said faulty turbo actuator. So car in garage they said there sending it off to a specialist to clean. He said dint worry after this is done the car will run like new. I already had the dpf cleaned & dpf sensor done but lights came on engine light & limp mode a few days later. The dpf has not come on since. They said also need a throttle something. Also my back beaks are squeaking so need back break calipers and pads etc. So this gonna be expensive I think altogether.

You can't clean actuator to repair it, you have to replace it, lucky there is a repair kit and it just I bolts with 3 10mm bolts, it's the diaphram that fails and doesn't open it so the rod barely moves, it's £115 from TPS for the part

Forget all that, realised you mean you have sticky vains and a PD engine pre facelift Leon. Cleaning the DPF won't last long either, these are just a time bomb and are a head ache a removal is a must on pre facelift

So my list of fixes are:

Turbo (actuator & turbo clean) I think,
Throttle Valve,
Boost Sensor,
2 rear calipers,
Rear discs,
Rear pads,
2 new tyres.

Rear calipers etc are for squeaky breaks.
2 new tyres to pass m.o.t.

Then the engine light fault take to workshop no boost.

Came as faulty turbo actuator & send turbo away to clean (I think).

Also needed new throttle valve & boost sensor.

So that's my problems fixed now any ideas on the cost am gonna be looking at quite a lot for all that.

Anyway car is ready I pick up tomorrow morning.

Just want ideas if this sounds like a fault with all these things or could be just one thing.

Also any ideas how much all this will come too.

Ahhhhhh.

I had the same issue, dpf light, coil light (glow plug light) and engine light on.... got a forced regeneration by a local garage, took him 30mins on the local dual carriageway with the computer plugged in and it was all sorted for 25quid plus vat... bargain, now to get my dpf smashed out and mapped at dtm tuning in Doncaster.

Already had dpf cleaned & new sensor. Fixed the dpf light. But engine light kept coming on every time I floored it. Lost boost turn key off & on error repeating.

Got my car back.

Had a shock a bit £2500.00 Bill.

They said spent ages on it had to take engine out etc.

But running very well so far feels like a new car the torque & turbo boost like new fingers crossed.

Car has done 110k miles.

Says dpf should be replaced at 90k but not done so yet.

These prices excluding vat:

MOT £35
Rear Caliper x 2 £302
Rear Discs x 2 £55.96
Rear Pads £32.69
Intake Flap Motor £329.98
Diafram £14.50
Turbo £598.98
Boost Pressure £49.69
2 New Tyres £103.20
Work £302.00 (Dont know what this means).
Labour 6 hours £360.00

So all that should work out £2184.00
Vat £369.40
Total £2553.40

Yikes.
Gonna take a while to get over this much.
