Seat Leon Cupra R Colour??

Hi,

I'm planning on getting my hands on a new Leon Cupra R sometime in the next few months

I'm undecided on the colour to get though, I'm torn between Candy White and Black.

All my previous cars have been some shade of blue, so I don't have any experience with either colour.

What colour would everyone recommend?

Obviously the choice isn't totally limited to White or Black, these are just the two I'm considering, but if anyone thinks another colour looks even better please let me know!

I will be getting the black alloys with whatever colour I end up getting, so I'm hoping the car will look sweeeet!!

Unless its a company car mate i wouldnt bother , complete waste of money imho , why not just get a used Cupra or new Cupra and add the bits you want and save yourself loadssssss of money?
if the car was that good other people would be buying them ? but there not , but without people like you we wont be able to pick up a second hand bargain

The white will look better with the black wheels imo but its really your choice.

Mine would be Lumina Orange with the black wheels...

Due to my location, I won't be charged VAT on the car, so I can get a new one for pretty much the same price as a standard Cupra, hence my decision.

Don't get me wrong, I appreciate what your saying, but I also want the exclusivity of the R as well so I'll be getting it over a Cupra.

Black looks amazing while its clean, the trouble is, it rarely stays clean and shows the smallest amount of dust so your always washing it..

White is a looker, but you have to remember that it needs probably as much care as a black car to prevent its paintwork from being stained by the muck.

If I was in the market for an R which Im not because its way too expensive, I'd probably opt for the the colour Furia Grey even if its at extra cost.

i ordered mine in furia grey, then got a phone call saying they've discontinued it and replaced it with track grey. No idea when i'll be seeing yet tho, could be August?

Orange would look good with black wheels.

white is far to common now, i have had mine 3 years now and they are like ar5eholes now "eveyone has them"

If you want exclusivity then you need to be differant, orange or blue i would say

I want a 5 door and the golf is 5k more expenisve. Audi is also more expensive and not a big fan of them really.

Id say White or the Orange with the black wheels deff.

Why are you going for the R over and above the Focus RS, Renaultsport Megane, Audi S3, Golf/Roc R etc?

Need 5 doors, so the Rocco R is out of the question. Was tempted by an RS even being a 3 door, but it’s far too chavy for me.
I know the LCR2 is over priced, but not as much as the 5 door golf R with options (32K) and I’ve had my pants taken down too many times by Audi
French is not an option.

my FL FR is furia grey with the black orion alloys. i like it .. i'd post some pics but my car is way to dirty...

Grey for me, but then when I have not owned a grey car in the last 14 years

Audi S3 is desperately in need of a rework, although its currently £250 cheaper than the Scirocco R, and nearly £3k cheaper than the Golf R!!! Bargain in some eyes!

Tough call, not sure what I'd buy for the money right now. With the Leon commanding £27k, I just hope it holds its resale well as dealers still offering me £19k for the S3 after 3.5yrs. With limited numbers it may hold its own.

I've just been told by the Garage I'm dealing with that they don't do black alloys for the Cupra R they only do the 19" alloys in silver or white.

So....time to re-consider the whole colour scheme!

Anyone got any pics of a black Cupra with white wheels?? Or a yellow one with white wheels?

Actually, scrap the yellow with white wheels, I just cant picture it and it doesn't sound right!
