I am having some trouble with my start stop on my new Seat Leon Estate 24 plate automatic. Every time I drive and take my foot off the throttle, the engine goes to ‘ready’ and the A for the start stop comes on. This happens even if I am at 70 mph on the motorway. I thought that if the car was going to eco mode it would idle the engine at 1000 rpm and I believe the start stop is only if the car is stationary?
Could anyone confirm? Is my start/stop broken?
