Seat Leon Fr 1.4 Rubbing noise after starting engine and when turning off

Hi all
My Seat Leon Fr 1.4 has developed a noise which sounds like a windscreen wiper going across a dry windscreen after starting car and when turning off.Any ideas as dealer cannot find fault .Car drives perfect just annoying and wanted to know if any one else has experienced this.

Hi,
Does it have auto wipers and are they switched on? Mine does the same since the dry weather, I think the system moves the wipers when it's active and moves them back when it's switched off.

Thanks Yorkshire Bob turned on engine and watched wipes suck into windscreen.
