Now that I´m a full member I can show you my little project that I have done.
I got sick with the awful looking plastic panels and the interior panel colors.
I decided to wrap them with 3M Di-noc and 1080 series Carbonfiber look wrap.
Looks a lot better now I think.
I have´t been using anykind of wrapping material before so I can say it was not easy. but especially the 1080 series wrap is easier to use with a little help of hairdyer heat.
The Di-noc has nice and more realistic pattern but it is thicker and it does not stick so well as the 1080.
Well little flaws here and there and had to do several pieces over and again just because a small knife slips or bad wrinkles.
The sidemirror caps were the hardest to wrap without any wrinkles.
The inside panels were quite interesting also because you have to unscrew all electronics away before you start wrapping (didnt want to risk making a scratch to my CD players screen etc).
Anyhow heres some pics.
I´ve also changed all the interior lights to LED, but no photos of that yet.

You've done a great job with the wrapping mate.

IMHO theres a bit too much CF on there for my liking, but everyone to their own .
I like the rear bumper the most, looks a good alternative to gloss black that most people have. Did the vinyl stick very well to the plastic on the rear bumper?

Yeah the 3m Sticks very well on the plastic. Just make sure it is completely clean. I wiped it with industrial cleaner just to make sure. the 3M 1080 series wrap is really good.
I want to make the car maximum black with some details. So some projects are still on the go..

Thanks for the compliments.
It has held up really well, all the vinyls look like new still. Even when the winter has been really rough.

Project continues slowly.
Today I buffed and waxed the whole car and added sidestripes.
looks Nice I think.
Took me a sweatful 6h to complete.

Hows the rear valance doing after 10 months?

Im looking to do my scuttle panel but quite fancy the rear insert too

All the vinyls have stayed on nicely. no wear and tear anywhere.
exept at the rear diffuser I accidently put too much water pressure on it ad it tore some vinyl off, but it sticked right back. (my bad really because I did it with 2 separate pieces and the crosscut is facing up instead of down.).

I have to congratulate you on your dash wrap its a top job.
I have never been brave enough to do mine because i thought the radio would be tricky.
Do you have any tips of getting the air conditioning controls off?
Now want to do mind in gloss black

Theres none really tricks to be made about getting the controls off.
Just unskrew everything out at the back and they fall off. A lots of tiny skrews so dont lose them.
The Aircon panel is a bit tricky to remove as it does not come off that far away so unplugging the cables need tiny hands and a bit of patience.

Hi.
I remowed all the buttons and panels. Not too hard project and must to be done if you consider about wrapping.
But if you are considering about doing a single color I would recommend to paint it.
Much more easier and the result is the same or better.
I really should do them over again. Maybe at my summer vacation I might find the motivation about it again. Vinyl is quite hard to do without making a single wrinkle or bubble.
Especially if you are a first timer like me.

Hi.
It comes off quite easilly. just a little force with a flat head screw driver and the clips pop off.

Thanks mate.
Next thing im planning to do is paint the brake calibers red and some sound proofing and to do something about the sound system. Definitely a new set of speakers for a start.
