I have finished soundinsulation project. Took me the whole yesterday. Approx 8-9h total.
I used 40 sheets of Dynamat silent coat on 4 doors. Also added some under the rear seat just in case.
As you can see theres hardly any soundproofing inside the door. 2 lousy thin mats.
I had some fighting to do while reassembling the doors, thats why it took so long for me to finish this project.
Also connected Hertz 6.5" Speakers to the front doors. That project will continue sometime this summer.
Will be addind 2 din player, amplifier 6.5" subwoofers to rear doors etc. Lets see how that goes.
Sorry about the shortage of pictures but when I start working I work like a mad man until its done. No time for brakes, lunch or pictures. :D

Today I added some soundproofing to the wheel arches.
Took the plastic inner fender off and added leftower sheet of dynamat there and also some 1cm thick soundproofing mat. one with somesort of synthetic mash.
That affected nicely, easy job and if done properly (not like mine), Could decreace road noise a lot.
Again, too hasty to make progress and didnt take any photos. not too much to take a shot for.

Its been A while since I have been updating my project. Well Project carbonfiber does not really apply, but anyhow heres new.
I installed Red sidestripes and seat sport texts. Also painted the brake calibers Red. I used 2 component brush on caliber paint. seems to hold on pretty fine.
Installed 6.5" Herz mid bass to rear doors.
Yesterday upgraded my ecu by my self. Software was made by Etuners. Stage1
Output should be around 260-270hp and 350nm torque and that really makes a difference.
Some pics here.

Finally heres a full pic of my car from this summer. Haven taken too much pictures lately.
Also installed Evolution Motorsports Intake. Seems to be running fine and the sounds are nice. The software I installed seems to be running fine and im constantly tracking my data with torque app. Keeping eye on the boost levels, fuel trim, fuel rail pressure etc. Boost seems to be peaking at 1.4 bar.

The rear valance looks great bud, first time I've seen it done in carbon on a black car. Gonna do that along with my bonnet scuttle and b pillars, did you remove it from the car before you did it? If so, how difficult was it? Also what size vinyl did you order?

Cheers mate.
Everything must come off if you tend to wrap them with vinyl. They are all easy parts to remove.
B pillar covers are held in place only with few screws and thats it. Also they are easiest to do.
Rear valance i did with 2 parts because there tends to come huge wrinkles after half way through. But i r
Think its still doable with 1 piece. That was my first piece to wrap so a few mistakes were made. The bonnet scutle is a bit trickier to remove but there is just clips and washer nozzles and hoses to remove. Do the b pillar and bonnet schuttle first and the rear valance last. Because the rear is a bit tricky because its a big piece. I cabt remember the size of the vinyl i ordered. Something like 120cm wide i think. Measure the scuttle and rear valance to make sure how wide piece you need. Oh and order 2x more than you need because there is going to be a few practice pieces for sure.

Im thinking about plastidipping my rims this week.
Im struggling a bit with color choice.
At this time im thinking doing them with Gun metal grey. All in one color.
Could 2 tone work? Center cap with red (would mach the brakes color).

Anyhow there has come plenty of different plastidip colors and could literally do anything.
Black is out I think, makes the overall look too dark.

Any suggestions?

Yeah, did NOT get any answers on the previous question. Oh well.
Decided to start by plastidipping my rims to matte black. It sticks very well. Only con is that the surface is a bit wrinkly and it collects a lot of dust. so Pain in the ass to keep them clean.
Managed to do some spring cleaning and waxed with Autoglym red and Ultra deep shine.
Oh, and changed the rubber stock pedals to the Cupra ones. Looks way more nice and feels too.
