Excuse for a pic of the Zetec S. Not just great to drive but I like the looks of it too, very Goldilocks - not too plain, not too garish….just right :D:

I've already had a firm 'NO' on that front. I wish I just ordered the ST now

Was driving my dads ST for a week about a month ago, Great fun was had especially on the twisty country roads but one week was enough and was glad to get my leon back off him as it was just to basic inside. He just got rid of it for a new Mazda 6 as he didnt fit in the seats lol...For me they were the best seats i've ever sat in!

I also disagree regarding the sporty feel of the FR Black, purchased one last week for the Mrs and she loves it. I've done about a hundred miles in it already and okay, it'll break no records but it's nice to drive, nippy, very well equipped and looks really nice, and just for the record my daily is a stage 1 MKII Cupra R so it's not like I'm not aware of what a fast SEAT is like in comparison.

i personally dont think theres nothing wrong with having a small engine in a sporty trim.125 ps certanly not snails pace.thats what attracted me to the 1.4 fr.sporty, practical, good on fuel economy and according to reviews a very nippy engine at 150 ps.got to disagree yellowcone lol my previous 2 cars were fords and they have never missed a heartbeat.i currently drive a 13 plate c max tdci 115.a cracker once you get out of first gear lol.very dangerous gear.takes about 3 seconds for some power to kick in and not very nice especially when pulling out of junctions.nearly caught me out a few times.the new ford models are so boring now apart from fiesta st and focus rs and they are defo out my price range.believe it or not tho the cmax is prob the best handling car ive had so far.grips the road and very little body roll considering its a mpv.better than most cars ive had.

Agree.we had an 08 plate 1.4 Reference Sport and I thought it was a cracking engine, really willing to rev and sounded good too. Could make decent progress, was certainly no slouch.

Whoaaaa!!

the most powerful Corsa engine in a 4 door 'D' model is the 1.4 at 100BHP and this can be had in full SRi trim...I know the missus has one.....it can be embarrassing driving a car with 17 inch 5 spoke alloys , side skirts, chin spoiler/ splitter, rear spoiler, bumper extensions, black B and C pillars and tinted windows and be out pulled by a Dacia Duster. The only good news is it was just 11k on the road brand new and unregistered.
