I'd like to enlarge the brake discs on my 2020 Seat Leon FR 1.5 TSI MK3.5. I'd like to change the OEM 288 front and 253 rear discs to 312 front and 272 rear discs. Can I purchase these directly, or is there anything else I need to do? Can anyone with information on this matter help me?

I've ordered some ATE ceramics for the front of my car, anyone know if they squeal much?
Maybe should have asked this before buying em lol 😂
They should be quiet - that is the main benefit of the NAO/Ceramic material, low noise.
Their negative being poor fade performance.

Would you say that the poor fade performance is with fast road use or on track?

To test fade, they get the brake real hot - and then do a high speed stop and work out the friction coefficient. The steel fibres in low met pads help with heat transfer (NAO/Ceramic don't have ant steel), and is one of the reasons low met are generally better at high temps. There are so many variables - i'm talking very generally, and have not tested and ATE ceramic friction.

edit# to add - fade is more important for track use - for road use you wouldn't usually get the brake hot enough.

I can see this on their own website:

And they also say they limit fitment of their ceramic pads to cars upto to around 300hp.
