I want to know if anyone has installed the janitor's switch, which shows as in the video, to the TDI 1.9, does it have to be matched with the computer as well or is it compatible immediately?

Oh, you mean the MFD control switch? A lot of cars in the UK came with it as standard. Should be a case of getting one, wiring it in (chances are the wiring loom has the wires in it) and coding it in
