is it Possible to update the infotainmentsystem for free?
Or do i Need a dealer for it?

or can i just download and pay vagupdate for a file and then update myself?

Actually it's not really a simple question .
Do you want to update the maps or the firmware/software?
You also need do state what system you have, Is it MIB1 or MIB2 or a High unit?
Year of car may also help.

Im pretty good with computers but i just cant get ahold of what a got and where to download.. or if it possible.. as it look i can download the nav but it doesnt work when putting on sd card.. nad some say it need to be bought..

And about the infotainment system is it even possible?

would be super happy if i put me in some direction..

It looks like you have the MIB1 unit, to update the maps it is usually a dealer only job.
If you want to update the firmware/ software from 0425 there may be an update file on the web but it is not something I know about, you also need to be VERY careful doing it as you can 'brick' the unit.

The MIB2 units are fairly easy to update the maps.

That paid update only works for Navi plus systems, if you read the description it excludes units with 5FO in the version.

The VAG built in satnav is really poor anyway, I've updated my MIB2 since the car was new but it didn't help and I still use Google maps on my phone anyway.

Yes the nav is poor but for free or 40dollars would have been cheap for piece of mind

So the question is still up for Seat infotainment system?

Is it possible to pay online to get the file?

Cause it´s pretty easy to do an update just need the file
