Haha yes I have! It comes and goes when it feels like it. Also the the rattle next to the speedo etc

Haha fcuk sake. Speedo was fixed with some felt or some bollox. They have aknowledged the dash but can't fix it. I've given the exec team at SEAT UK who my case has been referred to until the end of Feb or its going back under the sale of goods act.

Seems like a fair deadline to me! Why should you pay for something that's not up to an acceptable standard! Well let me know how you get on and I'll keep plugging away with mine.lol. Decided that I might as well mention the door when I'm in again. They'll love me :)

They asked me what I had before and I told them a 335d then they tried to say I should expect this stuff because it is no BM. Was livid and highlighted I have still paid nearly 28k irrespective of the badge and expect a certain level of quality.

Haha!! What a ridiculous come back!! Nothing like sh1tting on your own manufacturer lol! Deary me! Very true about the car. I could never give it back though, enjoy getting 65mpg and having 184ps too much lol Just hope these little niggles are resolved :) My OCD doesn't help things either lol

I'm the same I like tge temp at 19 best but have to round it up to 20 lol. My problem is I often take a colleague to work so no SEAT sound blasting out to cover it allup. And even a slight rattle becomes to much on a 100 mile commute.

Lol, good old OCD. The one that's getting me is my doors being a slightly different shade of red to the rest of the car. But anyways that's another issue lol! Ahh, I don't have that problem, I get that music nice and loud. To be fair it's a good sound system as well! My mate bought a 4 year old 330d same time as me and I kept on at him about the realibilty issues of an older car. So far let's just say I've been made to eat my words lol!

Thanks for this.... I've noticed on a couple of occasions a wet patch on my drivers carpet close to the cill, thought may be because car was parked on camber, will now certainly keep an eye on it...I m too getting fed up with the build quality, should have held onto my mark

I've also had wet seals, more on the passenger side though. On one occasion I noticed a wet patch on passenger arm rest and opened the door to see the same as your pic. The car went into seat about this and some rattles but they said that they couldn't re-create the problem so no need to fix it. It's going in again on Monday for a lot more rattles!

To be fair, my Scirocco needed a whole new clutch kit after 22000 miles as the one fitted at build had a manufacturing fault...

Just noticed my seals are saturated as previously described, looks like this isn't just an SC issue..

I agree. It is frustrating if things are not up to expectation, but unfortunately they are not hand built, so tolerances are there to allow the machines to do their work. I feel myself lucky, no problems at all yet, maybe I just got a car that did fit together nicely, but don't cr*p on Seat from a great height just because of this.

Boeing fitted a rubbishy (Chinese/Japanese) battery to their 777, but that doesnt make themt the worst aircraft manufacturer in the world, that can be experienced when you fly Aeroflot or similar!!!

Luckily I only have to drive to and from work which is about 4 miles from the dealership and then I jump in a van for the rest of the day. To be fair the Mii feels a lot better to drive than the ibiza ST they gave me last time
