Brand's year-to-date total sales up by 15.26% in a declining marketLeon up by 49% YTD compared with same period in 2005

More and more customers are discovering the style and sportiness of SEAT's range of cars, with UK sales up by over 15% during the first nine months of this year. This is particularly good news for the brand when viewed in the context of a declining UK new car market, down by 3.55% over the same period.

I think the really good news about this is that SEAT is outperforming the rest of its VAG stablemates at the moment.

According the SMMT figures for the year so far Audi is up 2.32%, Skoda is up 1.32%, Volkswagen is up 6.71% and SEAT is up 15.26%.

That bodes well for the long term future of SEAT as a brand after the worrying reports a few months ago.:)

Remember that last year SEAT was well down on the previous year, the sales figures this year are much the same as two years ago. The rest of VWG are up. SEAT were practically giving cars away in January and July. However the new Leon is certainly doing very well
