what do people who have these think of them compared to the standard brakes or 312mm brake set ups

i have just upgraded from a 312mm TT set up but i aint tested the 4 pots properly yet

They're better than the 312mm TT setup as they tend to grab a bit harder and fade less. In normal drivings its an advantage as you're actually using your pads less...I'm still on my original set!

I drive an Leon4 V6 wich has the 312mm disc as standart. Last year i made an upgrade with the 4 postin brake calipers of the Ibiza Cupra. Same disc, new calipers. It works wonderful and braking is more harder than before, and fading is quite less.

Would change this parts every time again :)

Here 2 pictures from teh front brake system:

Standart 312x25mm 2 piston brake system (same as TT and co.)

Then the new 4 piston calipers from AP Racing with same 312mm disc

It looks and it works great

The red "SEAT Sport" 4 Piston calipers are original from SEAT. I dont know how the system works in GB, but in switzerland u can order them from your local dealer. They are part of the new Iiza Cupra 6L. Part numbers of them are:

6LL 615 105 for the caliper incl. brake pad left
6LL 615 106 for the caliper incl. rake pad right

If u have standart an 312mm brake system, u can cahnce them 1:1. Prices of both calipers together have been about 800 € 2 years ago.

Waht is an MK3 Cupra? Leon or Ibiza? 1M, 1P, 6K, 6L ??

I dont know ne meaning of mk3 or anything else like mk :blink:im just an stupid guy from the other side of the island

It seems so :D

What type of brake disc are that?

16" wheels or 17?

They diont fit plug an play, do they?

They have been adapted to fit but nothing major, using grooved discs and they are 7x16 wheels and a very tight fit!

[B)]7x16 is one of the smallest i have seen fit, nice one;)

finding a nice set of wheels which the calipers clear is my biggest problem so far, i am running 18 inch bbs wheels and i still needed a 5 mm spacer
