Seat update found internal problem when removing spark plugs

Hi everyone seat have called me and that they have removed spark plugs and found a fault with engine but are waiting for seat assistance to call them back for what to do ? What does this mean as I thought seat have fix it though warranty and what fault can be seen by taking spark plugs out thanks Gary

Maybe a cracked piston or damage to the piston in some shape or form.

Oh so you think it will be a new engine job then ? As its cave engine in it at moment

Might be the ceramic of the plug has shattered, I have seen them crack under the heat from these engines and if removed in the wrong way they may shatter.

What does this mean ? As seat won't tell my the fault I don't understand why there Bieng very vague about this

they should tell you, its your car at the end of the day !!

All they said is they found a internal fault when then remove the sparks plugs waiting for seat to get back to them for what to do with car and I asked the fault other the phone and all then said is we will call you with update its like they don't want to tell me

At a guess; spark plug has cracked, fallen apart when they've removed it resulting in bits of crap going into the engine and theyre' waiting to hear back from Seat UK whether they should strip the engine, clean it all up and rebuild it or just put a whole new engine in?

I'm waiting for a call back wouldn't it be easier just give another cupra as I only had it like 13 days 4 them it's been in seat

Just got off the phone to seat basically 3 cylinders are low compression and 2 leaking air on the test dramatically

I would ask for your money back mate, I wouldn't want that sort of grief from a car I have owned less than two weeks.

Problem is I got the car on finance so I don't no where I stand with it ?

So speak to the finance company, you probably haven't made a payment yet anyway so your agreement could be cancelled.
The car is not fit for purpose, reject it!

Yeah but I'm in neg equity of 1000 will seat clear it as its there fault

I owed 1000 on my last car and they put it on the cupra etc

have a quiet half-hour & read your agreement, there will be something in there re returns etc etc - get your head around it & then speak to the finance company & explain the problem - don't forget it's "their" problem too as they "own" the car.
Read the Ts & Cs...

I have spoke to finace company they said I should be offered like for like swap or they should Terminate agreement and pay why ever it on the car plus charges etc
