Big thank you for respecting the embargo, though in this particular unique case it wasn´t quite so strict - it is indeed, an April Fool´s wind-up. I think if I did it again, I would write ´Loosely embargoed until...´!

You are fine to publish the release on the main page now if you want - it´s a bit of fun to highlight that the BTCC starts on 1st April. A lot of websites seem to be falling for it though - just shows how feasible the notion of a driverless race car really is to today´s technically literate generation!

The clue is in the acronym for Telematics Remote-Information Control Kit....
