Seat's New Multimedia Navigation System

Queried this in another thread following a news posting, but there doesnt appear to be as many viewings there and a search couldn't reveal any dedicated MNS threads so thought I'd post a new one here.

Has anyone got any feedback on this yet? I'm assuming any 07 reg Leon would not have this updated MNS, and it's purely on new orders? Is this something people would recommend? £1500 seems like alot of extra money when I can get a standalone satnav for £100 or so. I can see the major advantages of having one in-built, but for £1500? Any views?

I'm thinking of ordering a Leon TSI FR this month, would I be getting an 08 reg?

I hope I will have them quys, still have lots of vw units and waiting on skoda and seat unit, so If I will have some news I will let you know, price should be around 700 pounds like vw version. Seat version looks almost same, just dont have the sd cards slot and around the display is silver,not black like vw and skoda version.

hmm i just ordered my Leon Cupra in December and i could not select a satnav because it was recently removed from the option list. I guess that saved me 1595£ or 20 000sek

I ordered my FR in Dec as well and chose the new sat nav as an option i herd its pritty good... still waiting on the car now only 4-5 weeks i reckon!

Yeah I would imagine you would get an 08 plate, depends on what colour you chose and options. I ordered mine Jan 2nd and was told it would be an 08 as it would have to be factory built and not ready till March.

I dont have the seat version here in czech rep, I am trying to get them but dont have a lucky. I think the vw version looks better and have the SD cards slot.

I know I saw that, but its 900 euro, but did you see the seller feedback???

Maybe thats the problem, that seat version is not made here in czech rep like the other versions.

The reason i ask is that i am after one of these units and am also over in Prague in march so could maybe sort one out nearer the time - so if you get hold of them frequently i have no need to panic

if you will be in prague, its not problem to meet you, so just send me email couple days before, I cant promise you that I will have them, but I hope they will be still available.
