Need some advice from other parents.

Picking up my Leon this week and also need to fit a Group 1 child seat, but can not find anywhere any information on what child seats fit the Leon.

Please can you tell me what you have ?

Cheers

Is Group1 the rear facing 0-9month ones?
The back seats of the Leon have pretty short seat belts to be honest so if you have an IsoFix base then most will be fine, I have a Recaro Young ProfiPlus for mine - for use within the week! (See Sig!)

Congrats

Congratulations Pal.

Not long till sh*tty nappies and sleepless nights

The rear facing ones are Group 0, Group 1 are the seats which fit in the back facing forwards.

Congrats

Group 1 is face forward but with it's own integral harness system, so the seat belt only has to go through the frame and not right around the seat, suitable from 9mths to 4yrs.

We have a Maxi Cosi Priori XP and are well pleased with it. It has a lever system which, once the seat belt is threaded through the seat and engaged, you push the lever home and it creates further tension on the seat belt and gives a really firm fit.

(Ours isn't the electric blue colour by the way).

Congrats mate, hope all goes well, relish the last few uninterrupted nights kip you have left and kiss lie-ins good bye.

Bungee cords and roof rack is good enough.

Pah health and safety these days. Did me no harm, only a few scars. :fool:

Ah those were the days, skidding around on the highly polished vinyl back seat of an Austin Maxi, that would take a few layers of skin off on a hot sunny day...:)

A Maxi??? some ppl just don't know how lucky they were...

I had to put up with the back seat of an Austin Allegro complete with square steering wheel as i recall.... oh the shame.... the shame...

If your car is fitted with isofix (loops welded onto the cars chassis between the seat base and seat back in the rear) then you could do alot worse than the maxi cosy priori fix. We have this one for our son and is well solid. This has won various awards for safety. If you do have the isofix system make sure you use it because it's 100% better than just the belt.
