Hi everyone, just lookin for a bit of help, had a search and couldnt find what in after
I have purchased a flip key for my car as i only got 1 flip and 1 standard. My question is, how do i remove the transponder from the new key so i can use the 1 from my spare?
Nail polish remover will help remove the adhesive holding it in place then get a small screwdriver, scalpal etc to get it out.. As you don't need the old transponder there is no issues about breaking it....just don't break the one for your car!
Is the transponder the black bit at the end of the circuit board? Also will the nail polish remover not damage any of the oter parts on the board. Thanks
Can't get it to work on my iPad!...will try he laptop later.
Got it to work....yours must be a new style of fob then. I suspect that the long black bit on your is the transponder...try and see if anyone on the golf forums have tied to change them over. The only other way is to recode your new fob but that's a much harder thing to do!
