Second hand Miltek/Performance Parts

Hi Everyone

I have fairly recently brought an FR TDi which I love . I really really want a Miltek a) on a house saving budget brand new is to much if i'm being honest b) i don't know exactly what i require a know I want non resonated though. I'm not stupid enough to think that any miltek will go cheap lol, but just looking for one that is cheaper !

So the main query I have is due to not having a section on here which I agree with of sorts, is there any places that people use or where you might see Milteks and performance parts going cheaper.

I'm banned and refuse ebay for one reason and another so that's out of the question.

Just buy each of the exhaust system each month or Whenever suits , won't see many going second hand I don't reacon

Which order would i buy the parts i.e what's the most important parts, i have no clue on exhaust systems !

You'll need the down pipe. Either a sports cat or decat one ( which I've bought) and the cat back system( non res is without a silencer)

That's what I'm buying next, unsure whether that can be fit to
The standard down pipe. I was under the assumption you wanted the whole system from turbo back ( btw that's a good deal at 299)

What else would i need after that ?

I'd get a down pipe and buy the second half ( like Im doing) and fit all as one

Just a heads up I already had a de-cat downpipe so I ordered a cat back and it came with a reducer so you could fit it to your standard down pipe. Also if your going for a cupra exit make sure you state whether its a pre-facelift or facelift as the pre-facelifts are shorter.

Just cut the back box of weld a straight peice of pipe on and weld a nice tip on the end of that jobs done at a cheep 80 pound looks the part sounds the part give the slight extra performance who can complain

Ell I've just bought myself a milltek decat downpipe and custom centersection and box for 200

BTW, the price in that link is ex. VAT so it's not as cheap as you think!

If you wanted the full system eventually, I'd personally go for the cat-back first and then save up for the downpipe. Each to their own though!
