secondary air?

ive had my car plugged in on a code reader and its came up with a code saying secondary air, valve or selnoid.. just wounderd if you guy could help me out as i havnt got a clue what part this is thanks

Have a search mate theres loads on it.

But its on the right hand side of the engine as you look at it. with the plastic pipes going to it.

Was it the incorect flow code if so its a common one.

i carnt remeber the code of the top of my head think it was p0401 :S somthing like that how come i solve it

Check all the small vac lines.

Normally one of them has split.

Somtimes it just comes up though for no reason. it did with mine the other week.

I don't suppose someone could post a pic of these small vac lines and their routes?

I know a lot of people (inc myself) have bypassed a few valves and I can;t remember how/where they went lol.
