Secondary Water Pump AGAIN!!!

sorry to start another Secondary Water Pump thread up again, but ive searched and searched and couldnt find a part number or price

ive noticed that my pump has developed a leak, has anyone else had this problem?

I appreciate I am in the wrong forum.. being a Golf driver and all... but we all seem to run the same coolant pumps..

The P/N 251 965 561B Is made by Bosch and has a P/N 0 392 020 024

My local VW dealer quoted 81.26+VAT for the 561B.. so I phoned a Bosch dealer ..

Guess what.. Bosch charge 16.77+Vat for the same pump.

Can you guess who will be getting my business...

That link you posted is for the mechanical.. belt driven water pumps.. This series of posts has been referring to the secondary electrical water circulation pump.. which cools your bits after you have shut the motor off...

id be interested to johnluk as my secondary ones mountings are broken them little rubber bushes, i dont know if they come with the pump but if they do i need one, if not can someone tell me the numbers for the i was under the car the other day but forgot to take a picture it was mounted to a circular plate with three rubber bushes two of those were broken,

Just to update the thread.

Tried to get one second hand, most were already sold & the prices some of the scrappies wanted - it was easier getting a new one.

I got a genuine Bosch unit (part number same as above 0 392 020 024) for £92.83 from Euro Car Parts.
Seat wanted over £100 and so did all the other motor-factors / Bosch dealers I spoke to.
