Hi all,

Im driving a seat leon cupra 290 2019.

Currently in Ireland looking at getting a remap and just wondering if selectable remaps is worth the hassle? Different power in different modes/or select them some way through a few the cruise control as i've seen before. And is it even possible on cars with virtual dash? I know on non virtual it moves the revs when choosing the maps but would it do the same on virtual?

Thanks in advance

Depends on what kinda map you have. I have a simple stage 1 ECU tune on my 280, no gearbox tune. In comfort mode, it’s pretty much the same as before, unless I floor it, and in Cupra mode and Individual etc. I can feel the extra horses as revs increase and holds onto gears longer. There is an overall increase and change across the board in all driving modes, but hardly noticeable in comfort. I select driving modes kinda how it sound like you’d want a selectable remap, I think?

I’m considering a Burger JB4 which allows selection of maps (and map tuning etc.) come renewal time. Might be worth a look.
