So I've got a 1.6 tdi 12 plate and I'm due another service at 60k miles. It's got a full service history as it should only being 3 year old. But I will be going independent garage for next service. I've called for prices and they gave me about 3-4 prices for a variety of service levels. I just want a bloody full/notmal service. What is it I should go/ask for?

look at your service history and work out what you need...
there is probably intermediate or full then as its 60,000 miles you can pretty much add on anything from full filter changes or cambelts..

alternatively call the dealer and ask what the next service cost is and whats included.

Go on seat website and look at servicing, there is a list of what is carried out on the major service , then get quotes based on that

According to Seat website with fixed price servicing they have a list for:

1st Year / 10k Miles
2nd Year / 20k Miles

Then for 3rd to 15th year it shows every 12 months/10k miles as a "minor" service end 24 months / 20k miles as "major" service.

Includes full list of whats included in each!

Yes I've had a look. So in a nutshell every 12 months I should alternate between a minor then a major?

They also offer a £20 per month installments to cover for the services. Seems decent enough? My old car was 12 years old so I didn't bother much with service. Anything that need replacing I done myself. Filters levels oil change etc..... would it be advisable just to let seat look after it for the next few years while it's got value? I've got a 1.6 TDI ecomotive 12 plate.

Depends if you are precious about main dealer stamps or not , provided it is serviced correctly doesn't matter where you get it done
