Servicing Advice

hi guys

looking at getting my car serviced basicly i havent got a service book with my car so not sure whats been done before i got it had it afew months and when got it did oil filter oil and spark plugs also has new air filter, done another oil change since.

found out today that a major service is at 60k or 5 years and car has only done 44k now but is 6 years old, so think be time for a major service on it i know cambelt and water pump is to be done but what else would you sugest doing as dont know service history?

would like to get everything can really

Cambelt kit
water pump (metal imprellor)
oil filter
oil (obv......)
pollen filter
air filter (if not aftermarket)
spark plugs
brake fluid change (if you dont have any record of it being changed)
general look over for any wear damaged parts etc....

add some good old engine flush to your list -

im going to flush all the water out aswell -

I thought the 60k service was gonna be a "Major Service" on mine, took it to the stealers..........They charged me £190 and all they did was oil and filter!! Dont go taking it to the stealers they wont do anything!! Make sure you get your cambelt done though, better safe than sorry............

just had a coil pack go last nigth but lucky the nice rac man had a brand new 1 to put in for me

think there gonna start to go now to.
