I have recently had my Fabia Vrs serviced at my Stealers 20k 2yrs £286 and in April my wife's mk2 Leon 1.9tdi £ 226 quid 1st service. So my father has a fr tdi 170, he phones me up last night to tell me he is getting his done with same stealers for £137 after he told them he could get it done for £ 120 with a VM/Skoda/Seat specialist he seen advertised in the paper. It is is 1st service as well

Now as you can imagine I am :censored:[:@] with this, I dont know what you guys on here but I feel like my wallet has be ar** raped for a extra £250 quid for two services. They have told him they will do it on a Saturday morning, but when I asked the service manager she told me they don't do servicing on a Saturday [:@]

So what do you guys advise I do, I think I am going to wait until he had it done and then open a can of whoop ar** on them [:@]. I worked it out and between the three of us we have had over £50k's worth of cars of them.

After I paid that much for servicing I was serisously going to avoid buying VW group deisel again.

Dont bother with the stealer at all, just go to the specialist. When my FR comes up for 1st service I am going to a specialist, about 30% cheaper and it wont void my warranty and I have some friends with VAG cars who have been to them.

I did that with my girlfriends Smart 44 Brabus. I saved almost 40% by taking it to a specialist than the Mercedes Benz stealer (whose service is cr@p anyway).

As long as the specialist is vat registered (get some recommendations first if you can) when I wouldnt bother with the stealer.

They probably made more out of the servicing than the £50ks worth of cars.
