severe loss of power

i have a leon cupra 2003 which i am currently in the process of trading in of a new car, modifications include cda air filter, apr tip and full turbo back exhaust. since removing the air filter for the standard one, the car has struggled with power and initially under acceleration had no drive at all.

spoke to some technical people who say it may be the car re learning its map anybody else had this problem or similar? anyhelp would be gratefull. Can the ECU be re-set to default?

have had the battery disconected for a couple of hours and now the tcs light is permanently illuminated. MAF?

ok update... ive been out in my car tonight and been trying to run it. it rev's pretty freely up to 4000rpm now, and then hits an invisible wall almost - no power at all tcs light is still on.

anyone??

think you maf is gone! you would need to get it diagnosed
