Get an R. Otherwise your life will be one long disappointment. Your wife/gf/partner will leave you. Your finances will suffer. Your friends will disown you. You will get herpes. Your hair will fall out. You'll get piles. No one will want to know you. You will end up living in a cave.

Hi everyone. I've owned a Mk1 Cupra R 225 for a couple of years now and I love it but the mileage is getting a bit high now. I've been looking at trading my car in for a Mk2 Cupra K1 or Cupra R. Is the power difference just down to a remap and intercooler or are there other differences in the engine department? Any info is greatly appreciated.

Yes
yes to your question of should I buy one.
