Hi, should i have a ESP warning light on my dash? I've got a 2003 Cupra r?

Cheers chris

yeah the traction control works as far as i can tell but no light on dash. when the sun is shining i can see all the lights on the dash. but there is no esp light there to come on?
If you u understand what i mean?

cheers chris

Nope but even when none of the lights on the dash are on you can see what lights are on! if you look closely, but there is no ESP light there at all!

Ahh, I see what you're saying. Sounds odd, is there an ESP button? Clocks are still original Cupra R (white dials)? Car's definitely a Cupra R?

Unless the first Rs didn't have ESP but I'm sure that wasn't the case. Mine was an '03 and it definitely had it.

Yeah deffo a cupra r has ESP and it works but no light and yeah original dials!

esp light

Sorry if this offends but have you checked what the esp light looks like and its location in ur handbook. Just it doesn'y actually say esp, should be in center either near bottom or at bottom:shrug:

the esp light is the same as tcs light, its an explamation mark in a triangle with an arrow going around it like a wheel. its bweteen the washer fluid light and rear fog light.

the ESP disables but no light!

How do you know it disables if you have no light?

If you have the proper instrument cluster from the leon, then it will have the light.
Something is not right there to be honest. Get a pic up mate.

I can't get my camera to connect to my computer. has anyone got a pic i can compare to mine?

cheers chris

the light should be at the bottom of the light panel, if the light don't come on then the smd led may have died??
